Our Story
Ruhl Furniture & Flooring opened its doors in 1956 in downtown New Haven, Indiana. What started as a small furniture store has grown over nearly seven decades into a full-service home furnishings destination — offering furniture, flooring, mattresses, and window treatments under one roof.
Through the decades, much has changed about our industry and our community — but our core commitment has stayed exactly the same: treat every customer like a neighbor, offer honest advice, sell products you can be proud of, and stand behind everything we do.
We have served thousands of families across Allen County, Whitley County, DeKalb County, and the broader Northeast Indiana region. Our showroom at 511 Broadway St. in New Haven is stocked with hundreds of furniture pieces, flooring samples, and mattresses ready for you to see, touch, and test. We believe you should be able to sit on a sofa before you buy it and walk on flooring samples before you choose. That's the advantage of shopping local.
